Coffee frappé – the best of both worlds

Kaffe/Coffee

Kaffe og vanilje is! Coffee and vanilla ice-cream!

– 1/2 kop mælk
– 2 spsk sukkersirup

Blend alt! Blend everything!

We’ve been so blessed with sunny weather these past few days! The sun has been out in full force and when the sun is out, it is always great to enjoy a cool ice-cream! Of course there are some who prefer to cool off with some hot coffee. Well, I say: Why choose when you can have the best from both worlds! Ice-cream and coffee, a heavenly combination – and it’s not very hard to make one. The coffee has just been chilled. Here’s what you’ll need (recipe from Martha Stewart Living).

Coffee Frappé
– 3 scoops vanilla ice-cream
– 1 cup ice
– 1 cup chilled brewed coffee
– 1/2 cup milk
– 2 tablespoons sugar syrup
– whipped cream & cocoa powder
Directions
Blend ice cream, ice, coffee, milk, and sugar syrup in a blender until smooth. Pour into a tall glass. Top with whipped cream and dust with cocoa powder.
